A light at the end of the tunnel

With the governments latest announcement, and the 'road map' out of lockdown, it appears that there may finally be some light at the end of this very long tunnel we've all been going through.

Today is certainly a special day as we were finally able to go into a care home and teach from behind a screen in the conservatory. It's almost impossible to describe the sheer joy after not seeing the residents face to face for nearly a year now.

We are working hard, as a team, with the fantastic organisations we work with to ensure that we can work safely to start to bring our work back. We'll be using a mix of face to face and virtual sessions as the restrictions ease up and the situation is continually assessed.

When we started our mission in the dance and care industry, we really wanted to focus on alleviating feelings of social isolation and loneliness. The pandemic presented many barriers in us doing this, but at the same time, our work has been needed more than ever.

We've seen, first hand, the harrowing effects of the lockdown on physical and mental health so we are highly motivated to keep pushing through and ensure we reach as many people as possible.

2020 was tough but we're hoping that 2021 will be a year of hope and connection.

We want to encourage you to keep pushing, and try to remind yourself of the positive, brighter days that are ahead.

The last year has shown us how much we took socialising for granted and just how much we crave that human connection.

We hope to see you on a screen, or from behind a screen soon!
